  My date and I arrived around 5:15 for dinner. We noticed a Happy Hour sign at the driveway entry and another by the main door. We were met inside by three blue shirt clad female golfers who proceeded to scorn us for attempting to dine at Hoodoos. They were joined shortly by a woman, seemingly from Hoodoos staff who confirmed our rejection. It was very embarrassing but I moved to plan B and we were well received by Moxie's.
  There wasn't a door sign advising the restaurant was closed for a private event, nor was there a similar note on the web page.

  Great location and view, but very disappointed in service and food. We were there on a Saturday evening for a celebration and waited and waited, first for drinks (I almost went to the bar to help myself as all were poured and simply left there as no servers were to be found!), and then waited far too long again for what turned out to be a merely adequate and overpriced meal. Assumed that our "missing" waiter was embarrassed too as he did apologize for the delays upon presenting the bill. For what was paid, it really was a letdown as a feast. In total there were only three tables with people at seven o'clock on a Saturday, so no excuse as to the poor service. We won't be coming back.

  They have changed their menu for the worse. Apparently they have a new chef and a new menu that just doesn't provide sufficient variety. Left me ordering a chicken club at $14 and what was delivered was no better than a Wendy's chicken grilled burger. Really sad change for such a nice location. Between the lack of selection and the higher prices I know we won't be back. Watch this place charging you an 18% gratuity with no option! The service and food did not warrant this extortion. Save your money there are much better restaurants in Kamloops that will give you a better meal for less than this place. The other restaurateurs in Kamloops should be thanking Hoodoos management for driving their customers away.

  Probably the best patio and view in Kamloops. Excellent wine list and a decent menu. Great place to have a drink and something to eat.
